================================== LONDON UNDERGROUND

No line incidents have been reported. BLACKFRIARS UNDERGROUND STATION: Closed until late 2011. District and Circle line trains do not serve the station. Please bear this in mind if purchasing a season ticket or registering your Oystercards.

CAMDEN TOWN STATION: From Wednesday 22 July until Tuesday 13 October, there will be no down escalator available, access to the platforms is via a spiral staircase. During weekends and Bank Holidays, the station will be exit only at certain times. Customers who are unable to use the spiral staircase or are travelling at weekends will need to use Mornington Crescent or Chalk Farm stations to access the Northern line. EUSTON UNDERGROUND STATION: From Monday 17 August until Monday 9 November, there will be a reduced escalator service to the southbound Northern line (Bank Branch) and southbound Victoria line platforms due to refurbishment works. Access to these platforms will be via a spiral staircase only. Customers with luggage are advised to take local bus routes to Kings Cross St Pancras station for connections with these services. Valid Underground tickets will be accepted on these local routes. GREENFORD STATION: Due to station upgrade works to provide step-free access, the car park will be closed until the end of 2010. KING’S CROSS ST PANCRAS STATION: Reduced escalator service until late August. MONUMENT AND BANK STATIONS: Please avoid using Monument Station to interchange with services from Bank. Until summer 2009 interchange between District and Circle line services at Monument and all services from Bank station is only available at street level due to escalator refurbishment works. As an alternative use nearby Mansion House or Cannon Street stations which are a short walk from Bank. Maps of the area are available at both stations. Local bus services 21 43 133 and 141 also operate between London Bridge and Moorgate stations calling at Bank and Monument. Oyster Pay As You Go customers need to make their interchange within 30 minutes to avoid being charged twice. OAKWOOD STATION: From Wednesday 12 August until mid September, no step-free access at this station due to maintenance works. PICCADILLY CIRCUS STATION: Reduced escalator service until further notice. PIMLICO STATION: Reduced escalator service until late September. SOUTHGATE STATION: Reduced escalator service until mid December 2009. SWISS COTTAGE STATION: No down escalator until September 2009. WANSTEAD STATION: Monday 22 June until Sunday 30 August, inclusive, closed.

=================================== BUSES

CHARING CROSS ROAD BUS LANE: From 0001 Saturday 10 January 2009 until further notice, Routes 14 (towards Putney Heath), N5 and N20 (towards Trafalgar Square) will be diverted between Bloomsbury Street and Cambridge Circus via Shaftesbury Avenue (serving additional stops), but not serving Tottenham Court Road Station. This is due to major station upgrade works.

CHARING CROSS ROAD BUS LANE: From 0001 Saturday 10 January 2009 until further notice, Routes 19 (towards Battersea), 38 (towards Victoria), N19 (towards Clapham Junction), N38 (towards Victoria) and N41 (towards Trafalgar Square) will be diverted between High Holborn and Cambridge Circus via Shaftesbury Avenue (serving additional stops), but not serving Tottenham Court Road Station. This is due to major station upgrade works.

CHARING CROSS ROAD BUS LANE: From 0001 Saturday 10 January 2009 until further notice, Routes 24 29 N29 and N279 will be diverted between Bloomsbury Street and Charing Cross Road via St Giles High Street (serving a new Stop S for Tottenham Court Road Station). This is due to major station upgrade works.

CHIPSTEAD VALLEY ROAD, CR5: Due to gas main renewal work, routes 166 434 and 866 are subject to serious delays from 0800 Monday 27 July until Friday 4 December.

GALLOWS CORNER, RM2: Due to flyover repair work, routes 174 347 496 498 499 and N86 will be subject to moderate delays from 0930 Tuesday 26 May until end of August 2009.

NORTH MIDDLESEX HOSPITAL: Until February 2010, Routes 318 and 491 are diverted towards North Middlesex Hospital due to redevelopment work.

The diversion to access the temporary bus stand is as follows:

Route 318, towards North Middlesex Hospital: From Bull Lane at the hospital entrance, ahead for about 50 meters then right into hospital grounds to alight and stand at the first bus stop (rear one).

Route 491, towards North Middlesex Hospital: From the Stirling Way Hospital entrance, Sterling Way, Bull Lane, first left on to the Hospital grounds to alight and stand at the second bus stop (front one).

On departure, exit on to Bull Lane for both routes.

 

OXFORD CIRCUS: Due to installation of a new diagonal crossing at Oxford Circus, Routes 3 6 7 8 10 12 13 15 23 25 55 73 88 94 98 113 137 139 159 189 390 453 C2 N3 N7 N8 N10 N13 N15 N18 N55 N73 N98 N136 N137 N159 and N207 are subject to possible delays in the area until further notice. Please allow extra time for your journey.

PUTNEY BRIDGE STATION, GONVILLE STREET: From 0500 Monday 20 July until 0900 Monday 7 September, Routes 39 85 93 265 270 and 414 will not serve stops outside Putney Bridge Station due to building works. All buses on these routes will start and terminate at the stops on the northern approach to Putney Bridge instead.

Routes 39 85 93 265 and 270 terminate at Bus Stop FH and depart from Bus Stop FE

Route 414 terminates at Bus Stop FE and departs from Bus Stop FH.

VICTORIA EMBANKMENT, WC2: Due to BT works, route N550 is diverted westbound and subject to moderate delays from 0001 Saturday 18 July until 1800 Sunday 6 September.

Diversion

Towards Trafalgar Square: At Victoria Embankment junction with Northumberland Avenue diverted via Victoria Embankment, Bridge Street, Parliament Street, Whitehall, Cockspur Street to line of route.

WATFORD WAY: Routes 113 and 186 will be subject to moderate delays from 0800 Monday 25 May until 1700 Sunday 20 September 2009 due to roadworks.

=================================== DOCKLANDS LIGHT RAILWAY

EAST CROYDON TRAM STOP: Monday 10 to Monday 31 August, inclusive, closed.

LONDON TRAMLINK: Monday 10 until Monday 31 august, inclusive, suspended between central Croydon and Sandilands.

During peak periods a supplementary replacement bus service operates between East Croydon and Sandilands, calling at Lebanon Road, in addition to London Bus services.

NB. East Croydon Tramlink stop is closed during the work.

ROUTE 1: Elmers End – Croydon. ROUTE 2: Beckenham Junction – Croydon. ROUTE 3: New Addington – Croydon – Wimbledon.

GREENFORD STATION: Due to station upgrade works to provide step-free access, the car park will be closed until the end of 2010.
