================================== LONDON UNDERGROUND

JUBILEE LINE: Bank Holiday Monday 28 December, suspended. Four rail replacement bus services and a replacement boat service operate.

Service C: between Stanmore and Wembley Park, calling at Canons Park, Queensbury and Kingsbury.

Service D: between Wembley Park and Finchley Road, calling at Neasden, Dollis Hill, Willesden Green, Kilburn and West Hampstead.

Service E: between Waterloo and Canada Water, calling at Southwark, London Bridge and Bermondsey.

Service F: between Stratford and North Greenwich, calling at West Ham and Canning Town.

Replacement boat service: between East India and North Greenwich QEII pier.

WATERLOO & CITY LINE: Bank Holiday Monday 28 December, suspended. BAKERLOO LINE: Boxing Day Saturday 26 December until Sunday 3 January, inclusive, suspended between Queens Park and Stonebridge Park. Rail replacement bus services operate. Service one: between Queens Park and Stonebridge Park, calling at Kensal Green, Willesden Junction and Harlesden.

CHALFONT & LATIMER STATION: No step free access to the northbound platform due to a faulty gate. CHANCERY LANE STATION: Until early January 2010, the station will be open for exit only on weekdays between 0730 and 1000 due to escalator refurbishment works. For the Central line please use nearby Holborn station which is a 6-8 minute walk from Chancery Lane. FARRINGDON STATION: Bank Holiday Monday 28 December, closed. GREENFORD STATION: Due to works taking place, the car park will be closed until the end of 2010. OXFORD CIRCUS: Until April 2010, due to escalator work Central line passengers travelling to Oxford Street are strongly advised to avoid exiting at Oxford Circus station. Use Bond Street or Tottenham Court Road stations instead. Access to the Central line and interchange with the Bakerloo and Victoria lines is not affected. PICCADILLY CIRCUS STATION: Reduced escalator service until further notice. SOUTHGATE STATION: Reduced escalator service until late December 2009. VICTORIA UNDERGROUND STATION: PLEASE AVOID INTERCHANGING BETWEEN VICTORIA AND DISTRICT AND CIRCLE LINE SERVICES: From Sunday 27 December until 1200 Thursday 31 December, the escalator link between the Victoria line and the District and Circle lines at Victoria is closed during station upgrade works. You are strongly advised to use alternative stations to interchange between these lines.

Please use these alternative routes to change between lines:

Travelling from north of Victoria on the Victoria line: change at Oxford Circus for the Bakerloo line to Embankment

Travelling from south of Victoria on the Victoria line: change at Stockwell for the Northern line to Embankment

Travelling from west of Victoria on the District line: change at South Kensington for the Piccadilly line to Green Park

Travelling from east of Victoria on the District line: change at Embankment for the Bakerloo line to Oxford Circus or the Northern line to Stockwell

=================================== BUSES

CHARING CROSS ROAD BUS LANE: From 0001 Saturday 10 January 2009 until further notice, Routes 14 (towards Putney Heath), N5 and N20 (towards Trafalgar Square) will be diverted between Bloomsbury Street and Cambridge Circus via Shaftesbury Avenue (serving additional stops), but not serving Tottenham Court Road Station. This is due to major station upgrade works.

CHARING CROSS ROAD BUS LANE: From 0001 Saturday 10 January 2009 until further notice, Routes 19 (towards Battersea), 38 (towards Victoria), N19 (towards Clapham Junction), N38 (towards Victoria) and N41 (towards Trafalgar Square) will be diverted between High Holborn and Cambridge Circus via Shaftesbury Avenue (serving additional stops), but not serving Tottenham Court Road Station. This is due to major station upgrade works.

CHARING CROSS ROAD BUS LANE: From 0001 Saturday 10 January 2009 until further notice, Routes 24 29 N29 and N279 will be diverted between Bloomsbury Street and Charing Cross Road via St Giles High Street (serving a new Stop S for Tottenham Court Road Station). This is due to major station upgrade works.

NORTH MIDDLESEX HOSPITAL: Until February 2010, Routes 318 and 491 are diverted towards North Middlesex Hospital due to redevelopment work.

The diversion to access the temporary bus stand is as follows:

Route 318, towards North Middlesex Hospital: From Bull Lane at the hospital entrance, ahead for about 50 meters then right into hospital grounds to alight and stand at the first bus stop (rear one).

Route 491, towards North Middlesex Hospital: From the Stirling Way Hospital entrance, Sterling Way, Bull Lane, first left on to the Hospital grounds to alight and stand at the second bus stop (front one).

On departure, exit on to Bull Lane for both routes.

 

=================================== DOCKLANDS LIGHT RAILWAY

BANK DLR STATION: Closed from Christmas Eve Thursday 24 December until the end of January, approximately.

Docklands Light Railway Service Times: MONDAY TO SATURDAYS: From about 0530 until 0030. SUNDAYS: From about 0700 until 2330.

=================================== RIVER SERVICES

WOOLWCH FERRY: A one boat service is operating on 24 27 28 29 30 31 December, and again on 2 and 3 January. There is no service on 25 26 December and on 1 January. A full 2 boat service will be operating from Monday 4 January.

All other London River Services are operating normally.

=================================== CROYDON TRAMLINK

Services are operating normally on all routes.

ROUTE 1: Elmers End – Croydon. ROUTE 2: Beckenham Junction – Croydon. ROUTE 3: New Addington – Croydon – Wimbledon.

=================================== RAIL

SOUTH ACTON STATION: From Saturday 27 December until Sunday 3 January, there will be no trains or replacement buses at this station. Replacement buses between Gunnersbury and Gospel Oak will serve Acton Central Station.

CALEDONIAN ROAD & BARNSBURY STATION: From Sunday 27 December until Sunday 3 January, replacement buses between Hampstead Heath and Stratford will not serve Caledonian Road & Barnsbury station. Please use bus route 153 to/from Holloway Road station instead.

LONDON OVERGROUND, EUSTON TO WATFORD JUNCTION LINE: From Monday 28 December until Friday 1 January (New Year’s Day), suspended between Harrow & Wealdstone and Queen’s Park. Use Bakerloo Line and rail replacement buses.

Valid London Overground tickets will be accepted on the replacement buses which will run in both directions as follows: Stonebridge Park – Harlesden – Willesden Junction – Kensal Green – Queen’s Park

LONDON OVERGROUND, RICHMOND TO STRATFORD LINE: From Monday 28 December until Friday 1 January (New Year’s Day), suspended between Richmond and Stratford. Use District line services and rail replacement buses on the rest of the line.

Passengers are advised to use District line services between Richmond and Gunnersbury.

Replacement buses operate on the rest of the route as follows:
Gunnersbury – Acton Central (for South Acton) – Willesden Junction – Kensal Rise – Brondesbury Park – Brondesbury – West Hampstead – Finchley Road Underground (For Finchley Road & Frognal) – Hampstead Heath – Gospel Oak Station

Buses will not serve South Acton or Finchley Road & Frognal.

Hampstead Heath – Gospel Oak (bus stops in Agincourt Road/Southampton Road) – Kentish Town West (bus stops in Malden Road) – Camden Road – Holloway Road Underground Station (for Caledonian Road & Barnsbury) – Highbury & Islington Station – Canonbury – Dalston Kingsland – Hackney Central – Homerton – Hackney Wick – Stratford.

Buses will not serve Caledonian Road & Barnsbury.

LONDON OVERGROUND, CLAPHAM JUNCTION TO WILLESDEN JUNCTION LINE: From Monday 28 December until Friday 1 January (New Year’s Day), suspended between Shepherd’s Bush and Willesden Junction. Use local bus services 220 and 228.

Tickets will be accepted on bus route 220 between Shepherd’s Bush Green and Willesden Junction, and route 228 between Shepherd’s Bush station and Willesden Junction.

Trains will operate twice every hour between Clapham Junction and Shepherd’s Bush. Valid London Overground tickets will also be accepted on Southern services between these stations.
